Our hearts were made for You, O Lord, and they are restless until they rest in You.

Fr. Greg Shaffer shares weekly homilies that bless the faithful and lead all to Christ.  Check back soon as we are currently building an archive of his weekly messages.

We grow in faith through the careful study of the scriptures and the Shepherd’s words as they speak to our heart, minds and souls.

Seeds of faith are planted weekly at Assumption Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary and we invite you to the table of our Lord.

Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is a small faith- and spirit-filled Catholic community that proclaims the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Through liturgy, worship and witness to our faith, we perpetuate the advancement of Catholic Education, Evangelization and Outreach Ministries.

Working together as a family, we foster, cultivate and strengthen our Christian community spiritually, socially and culturally.

Guided by Catholic social teaching, The Church of the Assumption established the Helping Hand Program in 1967 to meet the growing socio-economic needs of our neighbors.  Today, the Pope Francis Outreach Center serves over 5000 families annually through our food pantry, clothing closet and love for one another.

Open Monday, Wednesday and Friday, we welcome you into the warm embrace of caring parishioners serving within our community.  Download to learn more.
